A bit more than a year ago, i tried to rally up interest in a PBP hosted here. We got some good respones, but we didn't really have the GM support we needed, so nothing much came over. Following WC IV though i feel like we've got a bit more momentum, and going into the new edition it seems like the time is right to check in again.

The idea i had last time doesn't entirely map to where we are now as a clan, but i do have a new idea inspired by WC IV. I'd like to try and encourage the really exciting kinds of things we saw like the exploration of the taint and the deal of the Gyushi with Emma-O.

Again, i'm more the idea-man here. We'd need at least two or three AGMs, depending on how many players we end up with, to run the mechanics. particularly for combaty situations.

anyway, thats the idea. if that something you'd be into, please register your interest here, and what kind of role you'd like to play (ie player or GM) as well as what kind of thing you'd like to see the game do. Do you wanna get into fights? test your dueling prowess? have long conversations about dark fortunism?

I could AGM or I could play, all of it matters though if the system and times are planned out. The time frame of the game is cool to know as well.

I'm highly interested in either playing or helping gamemastering. I'm not a numbers cruncher, though, and L5R sessions I had usually involved minimal dice rolling. Add to that that I do not know how busy my schedule of the next several months will be, I cannot really make any promises. But if it goes off, I'll definitely try to contribute, in front of or behind the curtain.

Well I GMed for the second time yesterday (Was not even L5R unfortunately). So I do not want something like this to be my third, sorry guys. Depending on how much work I have through school, and consequently how much I have to participate I could maybe be a NPC-esque peon, or have a character. Maybe.

Sorry my post isn't much good news, but this semester has been a real drag.

I'd totally be into playing. I've been doing PBP rpgs for years, but I'm not terribly familiar with the RPG side of L5R.

I would also like to play if this ever happens. I'm fairly new to TRPGs in general, so I don't think GM-ing is right for me.
On the other hand, if 3 people are willing to be my players I'm itching to try L5R PBP anytime.
