Would rather have Hachiko + weapon or Onita + weapon, but Hikayo will do in a pinch.

Hikayo can only do his force duel once per turn, Onita can cut down armies.

But if there is at least one to two good duels or big swords these two could become a core for an actually good spider duel orientated deck.

Force dueling should be our gimmick from day one so its nice to see that show up.

Especially given that our dueling sensei is Sahara, the OG force dueler from Celestial

Right. Onita + Weapon + COAAT all the way.

The duels come from the terrain. Interrupt the terrain and he's dueling with force the whole time. Of course someone can counter duel him on their turn and he folds like a wet paper bag, but on your turn, while Cooat is out, he's a 5"C" monster.

And no honor loss.

Yup. He's a nice Enlightenment piece, at the very least.

And I could be interpreting "from the action" incorrectly, so I reserve the right to be wrong.

I dont think it works that way, the action of the card is putting it into play. The trait give him the ability. Interupting the terrains action is pointless and he can only interrupt his given repeatable action once a turn.

The terrain's trait is still "from the card", yes? Isn't that why Brazen Disregard had to be errata'd vis-a-vis Accessible Terrain?

No, the terrain gives an action to your personality from a traight, who then uses the ability he now owns. The duel originates from the Ogre and thus he can interrupt that duel action once.

The only action on Come one at a Time is the action that puts it into play. Interrupts only effect and modify actions.

So, I did a quick DB search through Oracle of the Void, and came across this card:

http://imperialassembly.com/oracle/#cardid=107

Accept With Honor now has the Honor keyword. I think we can expect to see it reprinted in Onyx.

It's "from the action", not the card. So not busted, you are likely correct.

The duel originates from the Ogre ...

This part is false. The duel is considered from the Ogre, but is also from the Strategy.

How it works is:
COaaT's action puts it into play like any other terrain. That is the only action that the terrain actually has.
Once COaat is in play it gives the battlefield a trait - that being to give a lone defending personality a repeatable action, and each player a repeatable action.
If there is one defending personality that personality now has an action that is a repeatable duel.
The terrain itself mechanically has nothing to do with any actual duel that is then used from that repeatable action, only the personality is the source of the duel.
In fact you can play Victory Through Deference to remove that ability from that personality, and he won't be able to use it again without resetting the single defender condition somehow.

So if you have the Ogre as the single defender and play COaaT the duel will in fact be from the ogre and the terrain will not have any relevance to that action. Which means that he can only interrupt one duel per turn from that repeatable action.

As someone who played Dueling almost all of Ivory and 20F, I understand how Cooat works. It was the Ogre that tripped me up.

I agree that only one duel will be a duel of Force, but Accessible Terrain clearly demonstrates that the action is from the Terrain as well or Brazen Disregard couldn't be used even on its granted action (which has been established as legal earlier this month).

Dave said they're likely just gonna dump them into oracle some time this week. They'll happen eventually, the set is going to be released, but the sale has obviously thrown their plans a bit into disarray. i definitely get the impression that not everyone at AEG was in on things.
